Counsellor & Psychotherapist
People seek therapy for many different reasons. It might be that you just don’t feel happy, or you’re anxious or depressed and want to make changes in your life but you’re not sure how. Patterns of behaviour that you developed a long time ago may now feel frustrating and unhelpful. Good therapy can help you to better understand these patterns and, when necessary, challenge them and how you perceive yourself. This awareness can help you become a more authentic and resilient version of yourself.
I’m an Integrative therapist, meaning I use therapeutic approaches that are tailored to suit your needs. I can support you with a wide range of issues such as; anxiety, relationship difficulties, persistent low mood or depression, low self-esteem, and grief, loss, or change.
I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting, but it is a first positive step to address whatever your issues might be. It’s important to feel ready for therapy, to be prepared to be open and honest, even though it can be challenging. I provide a safe and compassionate space to enable you to do this.
I have a post graduate diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) which means I work to a set code of ethical practice.
If you feel you might like to work with me, please get in touch for an informal conversation.
