My name is Gemma Ridge and I am a fully qualified and Accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Accredited EMDR Practitioner. I am also a Director of HealthWise Leeds, based in Chapel Allerton. I offer individual counselling and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am an Integrative counsellor which means I use a variety of approaches and modalities depending on what my clients are seeing me for. I believe the most important part of my work is building a warm and compassionate relationship so you can feel safe to talk to me about anything, whether it’s upsetting or brings up feelings of shame. I will not judge you, none of us are perfect, but I will help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck, and offer you suggestions to help you improve your wellbeing and relationships.
